About Islamia Eye Hospital:
1958 – 开始于慈善性的诊所
1958 – Started with a clinic of charitable nature
1960 – 成立孟加拉第一家眼科医院，拥有250个床位
1960 – Set up the first eye hospital in Bangladesh with 250 beds
1972 –在美国眼科手术团队的监督下首次进行角膜移植
1972 – Conducted the keratoplasty for the first time under the supervision of an American eye operational team.
1980 –开始建立眼科亚专业
1980 – Begun to establish the ophthalmology sub-discipline
1985 – 与国际奥比斯合作– 主办孟加拉第一届眼科飞机医院项目
1985 – Cooperated with ORBIS – hosted the first Flying Eye Hospital Bangladesh Program
1996 –M A Ispahani 眼科学院成立
1996 – Set up M.A. Ispahani Eye Academy
1997 – 与Sight Saver 合作开展显微白内障人工晶体植入术培训
1997 – Cooperated with Sight Saver in the training for microscopic cataract intraocular lens implantation
2003 – 渣打银行资助项目: “眼见为实项目”首次实施 – 渣打银行资助建立渣打手术室及儿童眼科病房
2003 – Project sponsored by SCB: initial implementation of “Seeing is Believing” – SCB sponsored the establishment of SCB Operating Room and Children Eye Wards
2004 – Sight Saver支持建立低视力门诊
2004 – Provided the low vision outpatient service under supports of Sight Saver
2005 – Sight Save支持Islamia眼科医院项目–DUCEC & BCCC 行动
2005 – Islamia Eye Hospital project under supports of Sight Saver - DUCEC & BCCC Action
2006 –国际奥比斯支持角膜亚学科建设及角膜国际奖学金项目
